A Story Written by Divine Grace

From Prison Cell to Easter Sunday Baptism: The Heart of Homeward Healing

Homeward Healing was birthed out of deep personal transformation. Sarah Harbeke was once incarcerated, feeling isolated and hopeless. Inside her cell, she surrendered her life to Jesus Christ. After her release, she nurtured her faith relentlessly until Easter Sunday 2026—when she and her two daughters were baptized together.

The Miracle of the Arresting Officer

In an extraordinary demonstration of Christian reconciliation, Sarah was baptized by the very police officer who had arrested her years prior. God turned what was meant for harm into a glorious testimony of forgiveness and new life.
